TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION AROUND BRITIAN

We have an escorted transfer service for all campers from Heathrow. A member of our staff will meet you in person as you come out of the customs hall in arrivals . Flight details must be notified to our head office in writing at least a month before arrival. Flights should arrive between 0700 & 2000 hours (local time) on Wednesday and leave between 12:00 hours and 23:00 hours to fit in with our transport schedules and do avoid extended waiting times at the airport. There will be three drop off times to Heathrow for return flights to the US, 08:00, 12:00 and 18:00.

Please also put your provided Treejumpers labels on all luggage and bags. Also, ensure you are wearing your provided Treejumpers badge so we may recognize you easily.

Camp GB will provide travel for campers between camp locations and sponsored activities. We will not be responsible for non-Camp GB activities you participate in outside of our camp.

What if my flight is delayed on route to Britain?

Our travel reps are in contact with our office by mobile phone and can deal with any delays. They will keep track of your child’s flight details and any delays at the airport. Visitors will be supervised at most times during their stay, however on occasion such as the trip to bluewater they will be allowed to split into smaller groups to explore but will be given regular ‘meet up’ times at a central location to ensure no one is lost. If there is any delay or problems with a departure we will contact you via email or phone where necessary.

DO YOU WISH TO EXTEND YOUR STAY IN BRITAIN?

If you wish to stay in Great Britain beyond the length of your stay with Treejumpers, we must have written permission from your parent or guardian prior to your visit to us.

Transport to your next ‘base’ (unless you need to go to Heathrow) should be organized by yourself and Treejumpers accepts no responsibility for your safety, loss or damage of belongings once you leave us. You must remember to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for the entire time you intent to stay in Britain.

Treejumpers staff will try their best to give you any advice you may need, but you should plan the remainder of your trip before you leave the USA so that your time at Treejumpers is as fun and worry free as it should be!
